In this personalized, in-depth, and action-oriented workshop program you will take the CliftonStrengths (formerly StrengthsFinder) assessment, gain greater understanding of your greatest natural strengths, learn how to apply and convey your talents and strengths in your work roles, and learn how to develop and leverage your strengths in your work for sustained high performance and career satisfaction.


This course is for anyone who wants to learn the principles of strengths-based development and performance, how their own top talents work, how to express their strengths to others, and how to leverage them for greatest effectiveness and impact.



Self-study on the GallupAccess web portal plus live weekly group video meetings.

Your Coach

Mark Crouter is a Professional Certified Coach and a member of the International Coaching Federation. He holds a Certificate in Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University and is also a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach.

Growing up in a military family, Mark was drawn to a career of service—first as a Navy pilot, then as a consultant supporting federal agencies in the management of information systems and security. Mark learned about the value of coaching through leadership development programs and pursued training and education in coaching to become a better leader and manager himself. His own experiences with lifelong learning and development inform and reinforce his commitment to help others to shape their own careers and create the best version of themselves—at any age and any stage of life. 

Program Description

Participants in this multi-session program will take the CliftonStrengths© assessment, based on over 50 years of Gallup research and now taken by more than 20 million people worldwide. Gallup research shows that the key to success is to fully understand how to apply your greatest talents and strengths in your everyday life. Participants will get access to personalized reports on their full list of 34 talents—the way you naturally think, feel, and behave—and to Gallup’s extensive research and learning resources through their online portal. Through personalized exercises and exploration, they will learn the principles of strengths-based development and performance, how their top talents work, how to express their strengths to others, and how to leverage them for greatest effectiveness and impact, in the workplace and in life, and how to create their own actionable vision of career success.

After taking the CliftonStrengths© assessment, participants will create their own strengths-based service offering; professional brand and value proposition; vision of career success; and action plan to apply their strongest talents to their job, job search, or career transition.

Participants who complete all four sessions will also be eligible for a 30-minute one-on-one career coaching session with the instructor to discuss individual concerns—a $100 value—at no additional charge.

Note: The CliftonStrengths assessment (formerly StrengthsFinder) will be sent to you in advance. As this takes two weeks to process, participants who register less than two weeks before the start of the month will be enrolled in the next month's class.
