About the Group
We will discuss employers’ underlying concerns regarding seasoned workers and how to reduce ageism’s negative impact on your career. You will learn steps you can take to make your resume and interview performance age-neutral and how to confidently convey the value you offer an organization. In the open Q&A portion, you can share your questions and concerns for mentor and peer suggestions.
We Tuesdays at 2:30PM PST/5:30-6:30 EST for one hour.
Group Topics
Group topics may differ from week to week but can include any of the following:
- Understanding employers’ underlying concerns about 40+ workers and how to overcome them in your job search and on the job.
- Things to eliminate from your resume that can make you look outdated and past your prime.
- Making your LinkedIn profile age-neutral and attractive to recruiters.
- How to sell the value you offer an organization during the job interview.
About the Coach
Offering expert career advice for tough times, Trish McGrath has been helping people advance their careers for more than 20 years. A Certified Career Transition Coach and MBTI® Practitioner, she applies 25+ years of private practice, higher education and corporate experience to help people move from where they are – to where they want to be.
Trish is on a mission to help people live more inspired lives. Primarily working with mid- to late-career professionals, she specializes in career redirection and overcoming ageism.
