Adina Zinn is the founder of Love Your Work Career Coaching. Adina offers workshops on Resume and Cover Letter Writing, Networking for Results, and Interviewing with Confidence in the Age of Covid-19.

Academic and Professional Background

Adina’s Career Coaching practice evolved out of her 10 years as a Recruiter in the San Francisco Bay Area where she successfully matched candidates for jobs at all levels of responsibilities, from delivery driver to CEO.  She has worked with employers in multiple industries, and, in some cases, staffed entire companies.  As a recruiter, she found her greatest satisfaction in coaching candidates to make the best possible impression to land their dream jobs.

Adina has a Masters in Public Administration from San Francisco State University, a BA from UC Santa Cruz (go Slugs) and has been certified as a Career Coach from the Career Coaches Institute.

Personal Profile

For the past 20 years, Adina has worked part-time while parenting her two children, now teenagers, and was an active volunteer for their schools. She is a founding member of Women’s March Contra Costa and is the co-chair of Social Justice at Temple Isaiah, a large synagogue in Lafayette, CA.  Adina leads from her heart and with a sense of urgency to make the world a better place.

In her coaching practice, she has focused on working with women returning to the workplace after taking time away from their careers to raise their families. Her approach to coaching is results-oriented, tactical, and holistic.  Through improving skills and questioning assumptions, she helps clients build confidence, a universal challenge for job seekers.

Cultural Perspectives

Career Coaching is the culmination of Adina’s previous careers and personal passions. Adina grew up in a Conservative Jewish family in the San Francisco Bay Area and is a 4th Generation San Franciscan. She is a proud and active member of her Jewish community and Temple. In her mid-twenties, she discovered Buddhism and has been practicing meditation ever since. Additionally, Adina has been an active yogi for over 30 years. She is an avid reader, loves to garden, exercise, and organize protest marches in her spare time.
