Career Storybook provides support, community, educational programs, and resources. We help individuals discover and find careers aligned with their strengths, interests, and values.  To the degree that you can match your strengths and interests with current and emerging opportunities, you will be successful. And to the degree that you are in alignment with your strengths and values, you will be happy and successful.

Career Storybook serves the recently unemployed, the underemployed, career changers, and entrepreneurs. We offer programs for early- and mid-career and retirees. We help you with job readiness, interview preparation, and support for finding and securing opportunities. In addition, we help you succeed once you get a job with organizational success and soft skills programs.

We work with schools and school counselors to offer our programs to young adults. Contact us to discuss programs for your school.

We use the best of both mediums: Online programs provide you the flexibility of time and place while saving travel time and costs. Face-to-face or video meetings permit complex conversations, rewarding activities, and relationship development.

INTERACTIVE PROGRAMS

Learning should be a positive learning experience. We use a variety of strategies to keep you engaged and practice your skills: Problem-based projects, role plays, case studies, gamification, and fictionalization.

Engagement means you will have a more positive learning experience, with a more long-lasting impact. Our programs are self-directed with weekly real-time meetings. We use interactive strategies in mentored small groups that meet your personal learning goals. If you’re not engaged, then you’re not learning and growing.

Career Storybook brings the power of professional career coaching down-market to serve the recently unemployed, the underemployed, and those transitioning to new careers or retirement. Our success is measured by our participant’s personal transformation.

 

MISSION

Career Storybook uses education and communications programs to educate, empower, and engage individuals and organizations. We work to increase career alignment and fit and improve the economic vitality of our clients.  We educate and support independent mentors with our platform of services. These programs are developed and delivered to individuals and organizations as learning communities using online and in-person delivery.
